PEGASUS guarantee of ZEG IT-Service GmbH
As a matter of principle, we grant a warranty of 24 months from the date of purchase within the EU for all our products. More details can be found in our terms and conditions.
The first point of contact for all warranty claims is always the PEGASUS dealer from whom the item was provided.
One exception is E-Bike batteries. Since batteries are considered wear parts, the warranty period is limited to 6 months. However, PEGASUS grants an additional, optional 24-month warranty on the battery if the defect is due to defects in material or workmanship. The voluntarily extended warranty does not include labor or transport costs for the conversion. It is limited to replacement or repair of the defective component.
Defects caused by accidents, wear and vandalism are generally excluded from the warranty.

The warranty is usually only valid for the first-time purchaser of the bike concerned and is not transferable.

If a warranty service is used, this does not result in any extension or new start of the warranty period.
The presentation of the completely filled in and stamped with the warranty statement and the purchase receipt is absolutely necessary. Otherwise, a prompt and positive guarantee completion is not possible.
The manufacturer reserves the right to refuse a guarantee if the required documents are not presented with the part to be claimed.
A warranty claim must always be made by an authorized PEGASUS dealer (preferably the dealer who provided the item). You can also send us an e-mail.

The warranty does not cover any of the following:
- Accidents or other circumstances beyond the control of the manufacturer
- Repairs by third parties or repairs in a workshop not authorized by the manufacturer
- Bicycles where the frame number has been changed, removed or made illegible
In case of a warranty claim, PEGASUS has the option, at its discretion, of repairing or replacing the defective parts. If a component of the same type, size or color is no longer available, PEGASUS can provide a part, which can be regarded as a successor component, to settle the warranty claim. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts. In addition, no further claims can be asserted.
A warranty period exceeding the statutory warranty only includes the defective component. Required work or packaging or postage will be charged to the buyer.
Furthermore, the guarantee can not be claimed if changes have been made to the original construction, if the wheel is not used as intended or if there is any other overuse. Also, there is no claim for late damage resulting from previous falls or accidents.
Damage caused by incompatible or unsuitable attachments is not included in our guarantee.
